Acting Minister of Interior Affairs-IEA, H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, met with Dr. Mirdef Alqashouti, the new chargé d'affaires of Qatar for Afghanistan. 

During the meeting, H.E. Khalifa congratulated, Dr. Mirdef Alqashouti on his appointment as the new chargé d'affaires and termed his appointment important for both countries. H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani also praised the historical relations between Qatar and Afghanistan and assured continued cooperation.

Dr. Mirdef Alqashouti thanked H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani for his warm welcome and highlighted his efforts and aspirations. Dr. Mirdef emphasized the continuation of strengthening cooperation and relations between the two countries.
