Victim Rescued from Kidnappers’ Custody

Police of the 5th District Command in Kunduz province have arrested a five-member kidnapping group who had abducted a man in Maidan Wardak province.
The kidnappers had taken an individual from the Sarfaraz Khil area of Nerkh district in Maidan Wardak and attempted to transfer him through Kunduz province to an unknown location, but were detained by the police.

Two vehicles, one Kalashnikov, and one pistol were also seized from the arrested individuals.

The suspects will be handed over to the relevant judicial and legal authorities after completion of the preliminary investigations.
