Two Individuals Arrested in Connection with the Murder of a Woman in Herat

Personnel of the Herat Provincial Police Command, in an intelligence-led operation, identified and arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of a woman in the province.

The suspects fled to Nimroz Province after committing the murder, with the intention of leaving the country, and subsequently escaped to a neighboring country.

Following a series of intelligence-led operations in Nimroz Province, security forces succeeded in facilitating the suspects’ return and arrest. They were then transferred to Herat for further investigation.

The arrested individuals have confessed to the crime. After the completion of their case file, they will be handed over to the relevant judicial and legal authorities.
