Professional Beggar Arrested with AFN 110,500 in Faryab

Personnel of the Counter-Narcotics Management of the Faryab Police Command, in coordination with the Beggar Clearance Commission, identified and arrested a professional beggar from the courtyard of a mosque in Maimana city.
Following a search of the residence of the arrested individual, AFN 110,500 in cash was also recovered.
It is worth mentioning that the process of collecting beggars and assessing their circumstances in Maimana city is ongoing, with the aim of preventing the exploitation of people’s generosity and addressing the needs of those genuinely in need.
