Police Seize Drug-Production Materials in Herat, Arrest Two Drug Traffickers in Takhar

Counter-Narcotics Police of the Herat Province Police Headquarters, during a discovery operation, seized 600 kilograms of soda, 473 kilograms of lime, and 60 liters of acid, which were intended to be used in the production of narcotics. The materials were confiscated from Farsi District.
Meanwhile, police forces also arrested two individuals in connection with drug trafficking along with 10 kilograms of hashish from Taloqan, the center of Takhar Province.
The suspects will be handed over to judicial authorities after preliminary investigations.
