18-Year-Old Family Feud Resolved in Khost Province

Through the efforts and mediation of Khost provincial officials, an 18-year-old enmity that had previouly resulted in one death, between two families in the Banda Khil area of Tani district, has been resolved.

At a ceremony held to mark the reconciliation, Mawlawi Mahboob Shah Qanat, Deputy Governor of Khost, emphasized the implementation of the decrees of the Honorable Amir al-Mu'mineen (may Allah protect him), stating that adherence to these decrees serves as an effective means to prevent harmful customs and traditions.

He called on scholars and tribal elders to make serious efforts in resolving inter-tribal disputes, noting that they play a vital and fundamental role in maintaining peace and unity.

In the end, both families expressed their satisfaction with the decision and pledged to live peacefully and harmoniously from now on.
