42 Kilograms of Methamphetamine Seized in Faryab Province

A total of 42 kilograms of methamphetamine that had been loaded in Herat Province, skillfully concealed inside a vehicle, and was being trafficked through Faryab Province to Balkh Province was identified and seized during an intelligence-led operation conducted by the Counter-Narcotics Police of the Faryab Provincial Police Command.
One suspect has been arrested in connection with the attempted trafficking of the narcotics and, following preliminary investigations, will be referred to the relevant judicial authorities.
