24 Individuals Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Sale in Herat Province

Counter-narcotics police forces of the Herat Provincial Police Command arrested 24 individuals in connection with drug trafficking and sale from various parts of the province. The suspects will be handed over to judicial authorities following preliminary investigations.
During the operations, 1,201 intoxicating tablets, more than one kilogram of hashish, as well as quantities of opium and methamphetamine were seized from the detainees.
