Two Pakistani Nationals Arrested on Charges of Theft in Pul-e-Khumri City
Police from the First District of Pul-e-Khumri city in Baghlan province have arrested two Pakistani nationals, a man and a woman during a targeted operation while they were committing theft in the city.
The pair are suspected of carrying out a series of gold shop robberies across several provinces, including Kabul, Parwan, and Baghlan, over the past three days.
According to reports, the stolen goods include:
Gold jewelry worth $6,000 from Kabul, 150,000 Afghanis worth of jewelry from a gold shop in Parwan,
$300 from a money exchange shop in Pul-e-Khumri.
Part of the stolen property has been recovered, and efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining stolen items and identify possible accomplices.
