Thousands of Narcotic Tablets and Large Quantities of Acid Seized in Nimroz and Baghlan

Police counter-terrorism personnel of the Baghlan Provincial Police Command, during a series of intelligence-led operations, seized 4,645 narcotic tablets, 12 bottles of alcohol, and equipment used for producing alcoholic beverages from different areas of Pul-e-Khumri city. In addition, 28 liters of fermented raisins along with nearly three liters of alcohol were confiscated from the Qashlaq area of the province.
Meanwhile, police forces in Nimroz Province prevented the smuggling of 1,800 liters of acid used in the production of narcotics in Khashrod District and seized the consignment.
Four individuals have been arrested in connection with these incidents and, after the completion of preliminary case files, will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities for further proceedings.
