Six Arrested in Connection with Theft and Murder

Security personnel of the District Police Command in Qarghayi District of Laghman Province arrested five individuals during an intelligence-led operation on charges related to theft and drug trafficking.
Meanwhile, security personnel of the Herat Provincial Police Command arrested one individual in connection with a murder case in the Fourth Police District of Herat City.
According to investigations, the suspect attempted to steal a vehicle by threatening the owner with a weapon and demanding that he hand over the car. When he failed to take the vehicle, he opened fire on the owner and killed him.
The suspect confessed to the crime during preliminary investigations. After the completion of the case file, he will be referred to the relevant judicial and legal authorities for further proceedings.
