Several Villages of Maiwand District Cleared of Terrorists

Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) conducted a joint clearance operation in Maiwand district of Kandahar.
As a result, five Taliban terrorists killed, four wounded and a key member of Taliban Terrorist Group arrested.
Several villages of Maiwand cleared of terrorists and a number of Taliban hideouts were also destroyed.
ANDSF detected tens of various types of roadside bombs.
