Seven People Arrested in Connection with Criminal Offences; Explosive Materials Discovered and Safely Disposed Of

In several separate operations, Criminal Investigation Police of the Ministry of Interior arrested seven individuals in connection with various criminal offences. Two were arrested for stealing cash in Takhar, two for carrying weapons and vagrancy in Samangan, one for theft in Farah, one for pickpocketing in Jawzjan, and another for stealing a vehicle in Shah Safa District of Zabul Province.
Meanwhile, members of the Engineering and Fortification Team of Khost Police Headquarters discovered and safely disposed of dozens of types of explosive materials left over from previous wars during the past six months. The materials were neutralised professionally and safely.
