Police Seize Weapons and Ammunition in Five Provinces, Arrest 26 Individuals

Police forces in various provinces have discovered and seized a range of weapons and ammunition while also arresting 26 individuals in connection with various crimes.

In Parwan province, the Counter-Terrorism Police of the Provincial Police Headquarters have uncovered 21 different types of firearms and a quantity of ammunition over the past three months, arresting 18 individuals in relation to the case.

Additionally, police forces, through several separate operations, arrested:
 4 individuals related to theft in Balkh, 
2 thieves in Herat, 
1 thief in Daykundi, 
1 person in connection with a murder in Kandahar. 
Police also discovered and seized 11 mortar shells in the fifth district of Kunduz city.
