Over 9,000 Liters of Hydrochloric Acid Seized in Nangarhar Province

Police forces of the Nangarhar Provincial Police Command, as a result of an intelligence-led operation, arrested two individuals in the Seventh District of Jalalabad City, the provincial capital, while in possession of 9,312 liters of hydrochloric acid, a chemical commonly used in the production of narcotics.

The suspects had loaded the substance into a vehicle and intended to smuggle it. However, police intervened and prevented the trafficking attempt.

The seized chemicals have been confiscated, and further legal proceedings are underway.
