18 Arrested in Connection with Criminal Offenses in 5 Provinces

In several separate operations, Criminal Investigation Police forces of the Ministry of Interior arrested 6 individuals in connection with the smuggling of squared timber from Dara-e-Pech District of Kunar Province, 6 individuals in connection with illegal excavations aimed at discovering archaeological artifacts and precious stones from Jawand District of Badghis Province, 4 individuals involved in theft from Nimroz Province, and 2 other individuals in connection with the theft and transportation of 175 kilograms of soda ash in a vehicle from Farah Province.

Meanwhile, Traffic Police personnel of the Jawzjan Police Command collected dozens of motorcycles equipped with non-standard, excessively noisy mufflers and removed the non-standard mufflers from them.
