Three Drug Production Factories and Thousands of Intoxicating Tablets Discovered and Seized in Kabul, Helmand and Badakhshan Provinces

In several separate operations conducted by police forces in Badakhshan and Helmand provinces, three drug processing and production factories were discovered and set on fire, along with quantities of raw narcotics and materials used in their production.

Meanwhile, 4,350 intoxicating tablets were discovered and seized in several separate operations conducted by the Counter-Narcotics Police in various areas of Kabul province.

Seven people were also arrested in connection with the production and sale of intoxicating substances and, following preliminary investigations, will be handed over to the judicial and justice authorities.
