Two Arrested in Connection with Theft; Ammunition Discovered in Laghman Province

Security personnel of the Laghman Provincial Police Command arrested two individuals in connection with the theft of gold during an intelligence-led operation.
According to the investigation, the suspects had sold the stolen gold to a local jeweler. As part of the case, AFN 460,000 and USD 500 were recovered from the suspects.
Meanwhile, security officials of the Ali Shing District Police Command in Laghman Province, in coordination with other security agencies, discovered and seized eight boxes of DShK heavy machine-gun ammunition and one box of mortar rounds during a clearance operation in the Batyan area of the Saygal Valley.
