29 Kilograms of Opium and More Than 2,000 Intoxicating Tablets Seized in Kabul and Takhar

Counter-narcotics police forces seized 29 kilograms of opium and more than 2,000 intoxicating tablets during separate operations in Takhar and Kabul provinces.
In Takhar, police arrested one individual who had 29 kilograms of opium skillfully concealed inside a vehicle and was attempting to smuggle the narcotics.
Meanwhile, in Kabul's District 3, counter-narcotics police arrested two individuals in possession of 2,365 intoxicating tablets during a separate operation.
