Valuable Timber Smuggling Prevented in Kunar Province

Security forces of the Kunar Provincial Police Command prevented the smuggling of a quantity of valuable timber in Chawkay District of the province.

According to reports, the timber had been loaded into two vehicles and was being transported illegally. Following continuous efforts by security forces, the shipment was intercepted and seized.

One suspect has been arrested in connection with the case and will be handed over to the judicial authorities after preliminary investigations.
