Dozens of Drug Addicts Collected for Treatment; Dozens More Recover After Rehabilitation

A total of 186 drug addicts were detained during several operations carried out by counter-narcotics police forces in the provinces of Helmand, Badakhshan, Kapisa, Farah, Parwan, Paktia, and Samangan, and were subsequently referred to addiction treatment centers for medical care.

Meanwhile, 192 other drug addicts have recovered after completing treatment at rehabilitation centers in the provinces of Balkh, Ghazni, Samangan, Badakhshan, Paktia, and Parwan, and were handed over to their families by the designated committee.
