Five individuals arrested in connection with drug trafficking and distribution In Nangarhar and Balkh

Counter-Narcotics Police of Nangarhar Provincial Police Command arrested four individuals in Jalalabad city in connection with the trafficking of 10 kilograms of heroin and 3 kilograms of methamphetamine (shisha).

Meanwhile, Counter-Narcotics Police in Balkh province arrested one individual in Mazar-e-Sharif city in connection with the sale of 2,500 narcotic tablets and 4 kilograms of hashish.

The arrested individuals will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities following preliminary investigations.
