Nearly 200 Kilograms of Opium Seized in Ghazni Province

Counter-narcotics police of the Ghazni Provincial Police Command, during an intelligence operation, arrested two individuals along with a weapon and 187 kilograms of opium in the Gilan District of Ghazni Province. The detainees had loaded the narcotics in Badakhshan Province and were attempting to smuggle them to Helmand Province.

The arrested individuals have confessed to their crime during initial investigations, and after the preparation of their case files, they will be handed over to judicial authorities.
