More than US$409,000 Prevented from Being Smuggled Through Islam Qala Border Crossing

Personnel of the General Directorate of Border Police under Afghanistan's Ministry of Interior Affairs prevented the smuggling of US$409,200 at the Islam Qala border crossing in Herat Province.
According to available information, an individual attempted to illegally transfer this amount of money out of the country but was apprehended by border police forces.
The detained individual is currently under interrogation and investigation for further examination and completion of the legal process.
