Minister of Interior Affairs-IEA, H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, met with H.E. Thomas Frellessen, EU Special Envoy to Afghanistan and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, discussions focused on engagement between Afghanistan and the European Union, Afghanistan’s security situation, regional stability, and efforts to combat narcotics.
The two sides also discussed the situation of Afghan refugees and their return, humanitarian issues, and the importance of regional efforts to resolve outstanding issues between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
