Mawlawi Shir Ahmad Rohani Appointed as Head of Community Policing and 119

Mawlawi Shir Ahmad Rohani has been appointed as the Head of Community Policing and 119 by Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada, Director General of Public Relations of the Ministry of Interior, and has officially commenced his duties after being introduced to the staff of the department.
The introduction ceremony was held at the office of the Community Policing and 119 Directorate, with the presence of the deputy, officials of the General Directorate of Public Relations, and the staff of the department.
During the ceremony, Mawlawi Abdul Hakim Hemat Akhundzada described transfers and changes as a fundamental principle within the system, emphasizing the importance of obedience and coordination in advancing affairs. He also stated that the police emergency number 119 is not merely a number, but an important communication bridge between the public and the police, highlighting its vital role in crime detection and combating various types of crime across the country.
He further described the Community Policing Directorate as a key structure in ensuring coordination between the public and police forces, adding that the establishment of councils at provincial and district levels can play an effective role in maintaining security and preventing crimes.
