Kidnapped Child Rescued in Kandahar

Police forces, in coordination with other security agencies, conducted an intelligence-based operation and rescued a child who had been kidnapped a day earlier in the 3rd security district of Kandahar city.

The kidnappers had demanded 10 million Afghanis as ransom from the child’s family for his release.

In connection with the case, two suspects have been arrested and, following preliminary investigations, will be handed over to judicial authorities for further legal proceedings.
