Guidance Meeting Held for Ministry of Interior Officials

A guidance meeting for officials of the Ministry of Interior was held with the participation of H.E Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior; the ministry’s deputies; directors-general; the Deputy Governor of Kabul; the police commander; district governors; district police commanders; heads of Kabul’s security districts; and a number of other officials and personnel.
During the meeting, the new Police Law, endorsed by His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him), was briefly explained to the participants.
Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior, advised all participants to conduct their duties in accordance with the provisions of the new law from now on.
 Mullah Muhammad Ibrahim Sadr, Senior Deputy Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, congratulated the police forces on this major achievement and stressed the full implementation of the law.
Mawlawi Muhammad Nabi Omari, First Deputy Minister and Acting Minister of Interior, also addressed the meeting. He described the newly endorsed Police Law as a major achievement for the Ministry of Interior in the field of police activities and called on all officials to make effective use of it.
