Food and Cash Assistance Provided to 544 Needy Families in Balkh and Takhar

The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the Balkh Provincial Police Command distributed 12 types of food items to 314 needy and impoverished families who had previously been identified as eligible by an assigned committee.
Meanwhile, in Takhar Province, AFN 3,500 in cash was provided by the Anti-Narcotics Police to each of 230 eligible needy and impoverished families.
In total, 544 needy families benefited from the assistance in the two provinces.
