Eight Arrested and a Quantity of Weapons and Ammunition Seized Across 4 Provinces 

Police forces, in several separate operations, arrested 5 individuals in connection with theft in Herat Province, 2 armed robbers in Balkh District of Balkh Province, and 1 person in connection with the fabrication of a fake marriage certificate in Khost Province.

Meanwhile, police also carried out two separate operations in Balkh Province during which they discovered and seized:

2 Kalashnikov and M16 rifles, along with 4 magazines, 
570 rounds of ammunition, 
1 grenade.
2 other firearms from Sangtakht District of Daikundi Province.
