Dozens of Weapons and Military Equipment Seized in Herat Province

As a result of a series of operational and intelligence-based missions carried out by the General Directorate for Counter-Terrorism of Herat Police Command over the past six months, a large cache of weapons and military equipment has been discovered and seized in various parts of the province.

The seized items include:
14 Kalashnikov rifles, 
64 different types of pistols,
8 hunting shotguns, 
3 single-shot long rifles, 
1 PK machine gun, 
1  PPSh-41 submachine gun, 
81 hand grenades, 
2,800 PK rounds, 
200 bullets of single-shot rifles.

In addition, police recovered:
A handheld camera, 
12 walkie-talkies, 
1 anti-tank mine, 
2 grenades, 
9 rocket warheads, 
7 single-shot rifle magazines, 
6 body search devices, 
16 police riot batons,
Other military equipment.

All seized weapons and equipment have been handed over to the DAIAC office after completion of legal procedures.

Several individuals have been arrested in connection with the seized weapons and equipment, and their cases have been referred to the judicial and legal authorities for further investigation.
