Dozens of Weapons and Ammunition Seized in Helmand Province and Handed Over to the DIAG Process

The personnel of the Helmand Provincial Police Command have handed over 61 firearms, 259 rounds of light and heavy ammunition, and various other military equipment to the Disbandment of Illegal Armed Groups (DIAG) program. These items were seized over the past three months from criminal offenders in the provincial center and its districts.
It is worth mentioning that 58 individuals were also arrested in connection with criminal activities involving the aforementioned weapons. Following preliminary investigations, they have been handed over to judicial and legal authorities for further proceedings.
