In separate operations by the counter-narcotics police forces, 56 kilograms of hashish were discovered and seized in Laghman, while 13 kilograms of opium were confiscated in Nimruz.

Meanwhile, a drug processing and production factory was discovered and seized in Sangin district of Helmand, along with 1,000 liters of liquid substances and more than 600 kilograms of solid materials used in the processing and production of narcotics.
