Development Projects Worth Over AFN 21 Million Completed and Launched in Baghlan and Takhar

As part of efforts to strengthen the Ministry of Interior’s essential facilities and infrastructure, the construction of the Firefighting Directorate building of the Baghlan Central District Police Command in Baghlan Province has been completed at a cost of AFN 3.35 million. Meanwhile, construction of a mosque with a capacity of 200 worshippers has begun at the same police command at a cost of AFN 2.85 million.
In addition, to provide greater convenience for security personnel and civilian visitors, the construction of two new buildings for the Passport Directorate and Health Directorate of Takhar Province has been officially inaugurated at a cost of more than AFN 15 million.
Mawlawi Fazl-ur-Rahman Haqqani, Director of Facilities at the Ministry of Interior, said at the inauguration ceremony that the main objective of implementing these infrastructure projects is to improve the working environment for police personnel, enhance the quality of health and security services, and provide organized firefighting and administrative facilities for the public.
