Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics Visits Drug Addiction Treatment Centre in Kandahar

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, Deputy Minister for Counter-Narcotics at the Ministry of Interior Affairs, visited the drug addiction treatment centre in Kandahar Province during his trip to the province.
The delegation accompanying the Deputy Minister and Hafiz Esmatullah, Director of Counter-Narcotics in Kandahar Province, were also present during the visit.
Mr Munir met with the centre’s officials and staff, as well as some of the patients undergoing treatment, and assessed the centre’s activities and related affairs firsthand.
He provided the centre’s officials and staff with the necessary recommendations and guidance to further improve operations, enhance service quality, and improve the treatment and recovery process for drug addicts.
