Deputy Military Chief of the Border Police Meets with Residents of Wakhan District, Badakhshan

Al-Haj Mawlawi Abdul Manan Hassan, Deputy Military Chief of the Border Police of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, visited border security posts and the security checkpoint at the border crossing of Wakhan District, Badakhshan Province, during his official trip to the district. In addition to assessing the security situation, he also met and held discussions with local residents.
During the meeting, Mr. Hassan listened to the concerns, requests, and suggestions of the residents of the Greater Pamir area in Wakhan District. He instructed the relevant officials to address the people's issues in a timely manner and to further strengthen coordination and cooperation with the local population.
The residents of Wakhan District expressed appreciation for the services provided by the personnel of the Islamic Emirate, particularly in the construction and development of roads. They also welcomed the inclusion of local residents in official government positions and structures.
Mr. Hassan assured the residents of Wakhan District that efforts to resolve their problems, expand public services, and provide additional facilities and support would continue.
