Coordination Meeting of Northeastern Zone Officials Held in Sar-e-Pol Province

A coordination meeting of officials from the northeastern zone was held in Sar-e-Pol province, with the participation of governors, chiefs of police, heads of the Ulema Council, and intelligence officials from the provinces of Balkh, Faryab, Sar-e-Pol, Jawzjan, and Samangan.

At the beginning of the meeting, Haji Mawlawi Mohammad Zarif Mozaffar, Governor of Sar-e-Pol, welcomed the guests and expressed appreciation for their joint efforts in ensuring security, strengthening unity, and promoting economic growth.

The meeting, chaired by Haji Mullah Mohammad Yousuf Wafa, Governor of Balkh, focused on several key topics, including strengthening coordination among provinces, effective implementation of the esteemed Amir al-Mu’minin’s decrees, ensuring security in strategic areas, addressing the needs of refugees, controlling market prices, preventing poppy cultivation, and enforcing the Law on Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.

It was also decided to establish joint-stock companies in cooperation with traders to boost economic growth. Addressing the challenges faced by unassigned Mujahideen and taking firm action against criminals were also among the main points discussed in the session.
