Border Police Arrest Dozens for Document Forgery and Prevent Smuggling of Jewelry and Cash
Border Police forces arrested dozens of individuals in connection with document forgery and other offenses at the airports of Kabul, Kandahar, and Balkh, as well as at the Islam Qala and Torkham border crossings. Following preliminary investigations, the suspects will be referred to the relevant judicial authorities.
Meanwhile, Border Police also intercepted and seized more than 585 grams of gold and nearly 11 kilograms of emeralds and turquoise at Kabul International Airport, 3.019 billion Iranian tomans at the Islam Qala border crossing, and 30 kilograms of yama (myth) at Kandahar International Airport, preventing their illegal smuggling.
