Badakhshan Governor Visits Yaftal District

Al-Haj Mawlawi Rahmatullah Najib, Governor of Badakhshan Province, visited Yaftal District of the province

A gathering was held in the district, attended by the Provincial Police Commander, Intelligence Chief, Director of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, civilian and military officials, religious scholars, and tribal elders of the province.
Mawlawi Abdul Jamil Sayes, President of Takhar University and one of the Jihadi elders of the Yaftals, welcomed the Badakhshan governor and recalled the bravery, sacrifices, and struggles of the people of the district during the Jihad. He said that the people of Yaftal have stood alongside the Islamic Emirate in the past and present and have cooperated with officials in various areas.
In his remarks, the Governor of Badakhshan conveyed the message of the leadership of the Islamic Emirate to the people, appreciated the sacrifices and struggles of the people and Mujahideen of Yaftal during the Jihad, and described their role in ensuring security, consolidating the Islamic system, and maintaining stability in the country as important. He called on them to maintain serious and comprehensive cooperation with the officials.
The Badakhshan governor also called on the people to cooperate with the forces of the Islamic Emirate in preventing the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics and to actively contribute to ensuring security, maintaining public order, and preventing illegal activities.
At the end, Mullah Ahmad Shah Din-Dost, Police Commander of Badakhshan Province, also called on the people of Yaftal District to continue, as in the past, cooperating with the security forces in ensuring security, maintaining order, and consolidating stability.
