Armed Suspect Arrested in Daikundi Province

Personnel of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Police Command in Shahristan district, Daikundi province, arrested an armed suspect who had been on the run for nearly a month in connection with a criminal case. The arrest was carried out during a targeted operation.
During the operation, police recovered one Kalashnikov rifle with two magazines and 24 rounds of ammunition, one pistol with a magazine and 4 rounds of ammunition, and one hunting binocular from the suspect.
The suspect is currently under police custody and will be handed over to judicial authorities after the completion of preliminary investigations.
