9 Individuals Arrested in Connection with Smuggling 78 Kilograms of Narcotics

Counter-Narcotics Police, in cooperation with other security forces, arrested one individual with 50 kilograms of hashish in Baghlan province and two others with 23 kilograms of opium in Ghazni province during several separate operations.

Additionally, Counter-Narcotics Police detained six individuals in Kabul’s 4th and 5th districts and in Paghman district, seizing 4 kilograms of hashish, 1 kilogram of methamphetamine, 137 narcotic tablets, and 328 rounds of M4 and PK machine gun ammunition.

The detainees, after preliminary investigations, will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities.
