65-Year-Old Family Feud Resolved in Khost Through Mediation of Security Officials

A 65-year-long enmity between two families in Khoikhil area of Du Manda district, Khost province—which had previously resulted in the death of one individual—has been resolved and transformed into friendship through the mediation of Khost Provincial Police Command.

During a ceremony held on this occasion, speakers emphasized that alongside maintaining security, attention must also be given to the process of ethnic reconciliation so that people may live together in brotherhood.

Tribal elders praised the reconciliation process and called for the continuation of such efforts. Both families expressed appreciation for the endeavors of the officials and pledged to live in an environment of harmony and brotherhood.
