31 Individuals Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Distribution in Two Provinces

The Counter Narcotics Police arrested 31 individuals during separate operations in Kabul and Herat provinces on charges of drug trafficking and distribution. Following the completion of their case files, the suspects will be referred to the relevant judicial and legal authorities.

During the operations, officers also seized 3,500 narcotic tablets, 8,780 kilograms of yama (methamphetamine mixed with caffein), and quantities of hashish, methamphetamine (crystal meth), and heroin from the arrested individuals.
