18-Year Blood Feud Between Two Families in Paktia Comes to an End

An 18-year-long blood feud between two families in Ali Khel village of Aryob Zazi district, Paktia province, has been peacefully resolved. The conflict, which claimed the lives of 4 people from both sides and caused significant financial losses, was settled in the presence of Al-Haj Mawlawi Mohammad Anwar Din Parwar, Deputy Governor of Paktia.
The reconciliation was facilitated by the Provincial Directorate of Borders, Tribes and Tribal Affairs, following sustained efforts by religious scholars and tribal elders.
During the reconciliation ceremony, officials highlighted the importance of forgiveness and peace from the perspective of Islamic Sharia, urging both families to embrace a future founded on love, brotherhood, and peaceful coexistence.
The elders of both families expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the authorities and mediators, affirming that they had accepted the decision of the mediation committee with full satisfaction.
