Foundation Stone Laid for Construction of a New Grand Mosque at Maidan Wardak Training Center

The foundation-laying ceremony was attended by Al-Haj General Mullah Rahmatullah Najib Haji, Administrative Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs; Mawlawi Shir Ahmad Rohani, Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Construction, Mawlawi Mohammad Naism Saeed, Commander of the Maidan Wardak Training Center; along with other officials and personnel.

The mosque will be constructed at a cost of 28 million Afghanis from the development budget of the Ministry of Interior Affairs and will have the capacity to accommodate 2,400 worshippers.
