Thirty Suspects Arrested on Drug Trafficking and Distribution Charges Across Four Provinces; Drug Processing Laboratory Dismantled

Counter-narcotics police forces arrested 30 individuals during a series of separate operations conducted in the provinces of Herat, Nangarhar, Paktia, and Jawzjan. During the operations, a drug-processing laboratory was also discovered and dismantled.

According to the report, authorities seized 4,578 narcotic tablets, 53 kilograms of precursor chemicals used in the production of methamphetamine, as well as quantities of hashish, methamphetamine, and heroin from the arrested suspects.

The detainees are expected to be referred to the relevant judicial and legal authorities following the completion of preliminary investigations.
