Smuggling of US$250,000 Prevented at Islam Qala Border Crossing

Border Police forces at the Islam Qala border crossing prevented the smuggling of nearly US$250,000. The money was discovered and seized while an individual was attempting to transfer it illegally into Iran.
The suspect, along with the confiscated cash, has been referred to the relevant authorities for the completion of legal procedures.
Officials emphasized that efforts to prevent financial violations and smuggling at the country's border crossings will continue with determination.
