Security Forces in Uruzgan Discover Large Weapons Cache And Arrest Two Suspects

Security forces of the Uruzgan Provincial Police Command have discovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition during an operation conducted in the Talani area of the provincial capital, Tarinkot. The operation was carried out based on intelligence reports and targeted the residence of a former official of the previous administration.

The seized items include six Kalashnikov rifles, one DShK heavy machine gun, hundreds of hand grenades, and thousands of rounds of ammunition for rocket launchers, PK machine guns, DShK, and Kalashnikov rifles, along with various other military equipment and supplies.

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. Following initial investigations, they will be handed over to judicial and legal authorities.
