Security Forces Prevent Weapons Smuggling in Paktia

Security forces from the Khalid bin Walid Unit seized 30 pistols and 13 AK-47 rifles on the Gardez–Zurmat Highway in Paktia Province. The weapons were being smuggled through Patan District to Ghazni Province.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident. Following the completion of preliminary investigations, they will be referred to the relevant judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
