Regular Coordination Meeting of Southwestern Zone Governors Held

A regular coordination meeting of the governors of the provinces in the Southwestern Zone was held at the Kandahar Governor’s Office, chaired by H.E. Al-Haj Mullah Mohammad Shirin Akhund, Governor of Kandahar. In addition to the governors of Zabul, Helmand, Uruzgan, and Daykundi, officials from the army corps, police commands, intelligence, military courts, and other relevant departments also attended the meeting.
Comprehensive reports on the security and civilian affairs of the aforementioned provinces were presented at the meeting, and emphasis was placed on further enhancing coordination and cooperation among government departments.
The meeting also discussed the implementation of the decrees of the Esteemed Amir-ul-Momineen (may Allah protect him), further strengthening security, preventing land grabbing, the cultivation, trafficking, and buying and selling of narcotics, strengthening relations between the people and the government, and increasing coordination among security and civilian departments. Necessary decisions were made regarding the issues discussed.
